Sunday Psalms: Deep Dive
Sunday Psalms: Fictional Narratives Inspired by the Psalms, Proverbs, & Other Biblical Works
Deep Dive
Staring into the deep
There is a darkness beckoning me
To proceed
To plunge
To press deeply into places only my Creator sees
Where thoughts, feelings and desires
Lurk
Linger
Latching on to caverns beneath the peaceful surface
What might be found here in the great below?
Monsters
Molecules
Maps and the pathways of my soul
Will you deep dive with me?
Covering
Conserving
This is a scary place to go it alone
Will You abide with me?
Unearthing
Unveiling
Untying tangled tales that drown the truth that liberates
shiftings in the deep
reverberations in the shallows
resurrections on dry land

Jesus therefore said to them again, ‘Peace be unto you: as the Father hath sent me, even so send I you. And when he had said this, He breathed on them, and saith unto them, ‘Receive ye the Holy Spirit.’ John 20:21-22 (ASV)
Question to Ponder: When do you stay in the shallow waters of life? Where are you being called to go deeper?
Song Recommendation: Deeper (Stephen Roach)
